Frank Steinman
Frank E. Steinman (1914-1986)

Steinman was primarily a watercolorist and a native of Mexico, MO. He
was a 1936 graduate of CMC, Fayette, MO and studied at the Kansas City
Art Institute. He worked as a professional artist and advertising
executive for Brewer Advertising in Kansas City, MO and also served for
several years on the board of directors of the Arrow Rock Lyceum
Theatre, Arrow Rock, MO. Steinman focused many of his watercolor
paintings on historic covered bridges in the Midwest including the
famous one in Madison County, Iowa. He died in October of 1986.
