The Campaign for Eagle Athletics

Athletics has always played a major role in the total Central Methodist experience. Currently nearly 60% of our Fayette campus students are engaged in co-curricular programs, the majority of which are sports-related. Our membership in the Heart of America Athletic Conference finds us competing with ten other excellent schools, many with outstanding facilities.

In recent years Central has supported campus life with a new Student and Community Center, the outdoor athletic facility, and upgrades to Stedman and T. Berry Halls, the Conservatory, the library, and all our residence halls. In most cases, our athletic facilities have been surpassed by those of our competitors and thus a major effort on our part is needed to move Central to its rightful position of leadership in the conference and the state. Our students deserve the best, and we have the opportunity now to give it to them.

The Campaign for Eagle Athletics will help support every athletic team and program on campus. A combination of new and renovated facilities will attract the finest athletes to Central and at the same time will instill a sense of pride in everyone. Area schools will vie to be able to play on our fields, track, and courts, and we will set a new standard for excellence among student-athletes and coaches. Mid-Missouri residents and visitors alike will consider our campus a destination and a showplace.
