
international students admission Process
The admissions process is a simple one, but one that must occur in
the following order.
1. Apply
You may apply online with no cost or obligation.
2. Admission Granted or Denied
You will be notified by email of your acceptance or denial. A
scholarship offer will be emailed shortly afterwards. To accept this
award, please reply by email and say “I accept this offer”.
3. Mail Enrollment Deposit of $200
The $200 enrollment deposit must be received before the issuance of your
I-20. Upon receipt of this fee your I-20, and I-901 information, as well
as your admission letter and scholarship award will be mailed through
UPS to the address on your application. PLEASE MAKE SURE THAT YOUR
ADDRESS AND PHONE NUMBER ON YOUR APPLICATION ARE CORRECT!
At this point, you must make your appointment to gain your visa. Consult
www.uscis.gov for more information.
5. Alert the Office of Admission of your visa status.
Please keep the Office of Admission updated on the status of your visa.
If you are denied, please let us know. As soon as your visa is granted,
please send an email to
cbaxter@centralmethodist.edu.
6. Submit an online Housing Form
All international students under the age of 21are required to live on campus. Campus
housing will be assigned upon notification that you were granted an F1
visa. Please be sure you include your email address on your housing
form.
7 Make Travel Arrangements.
Please secure your travel dates and inform the Office of Admission.
8. Arrive at Central Methodist University
A. Check in with the Office of Admission. Payment of your first semester
fees are required before you will be allowed to enroll in classes. Meet
with your advisor!
9. You are now an official student of CMU!
