audience in the country, which is interrupted by the mysterious "Stage
Door Slasher" who has already killed three chorus girls in their most
recent production. Mayhem ensues in this send-up of the murder mystery
genre.

One of Shakespeare's earliest works involves four men who sign a pact,
swearing off women, booze, and even sleep for three years. Enter the
four ladies, a clown and madcap Spaniard and their plans go awry.

Alex is trying to revive his marriage and put an end to the relentless
toll of his career as a successful actor. He is trying to live his life,
that is, until the Director yells, "Cut!" The Director and everyone else
thinks Alex's life is part of a new soap they are shooting. It seems
Alex's life is more out of control than he thought.
