The Public Health Cooperative Program
The "3-2" Early Admission Program in Public Health
Through this program pre-med students may apply to Tulane University
School of Public Health and Tropical Medicine in their junior year. If
accepted, they then complete all general education requirements at CMU
within three years, and the Master's Degree at Tulane in two years. At
this time students receive both the bachelor's degree from CMU and the
master's degree from Tulane. Alternatively students may opt to complete
their BS or BA at CMU within the three years prior to going on to
Tulane.
Students interested in tropical medicine, epidemiology, community
health, biostatistics, environmental health, health systems management
or international health would be interested in this program. Many
combine the MPH with medical or law school. Please consult
