Test Composition
This is a Computer Adaptive Exam
- Analytical Writing Section: 75 minutes consists of one 45-minute essay and one 30-minute essay. Analysis of an issue and Analysis of an Argument.
- Verbal Section: 30 minutes, 30 questions. Tests reading and vocabulary skills.
- Math Section: 45 minutes, 28 questions. Tests basic math, mathematical concepts, and quantitative reasoning.
- Experimental Section: One additional unscored experimental section; could be Verbal, Math, or Writing.
Scoring
Quantitative and Verbal; score scale: 200-800 each. AWA; score scale 0-6. Mean GRE scores are Verbal 467 and Quantitative 591. Analytical Writing Analysis mean score: 4.2
