Test Composition
Survey of Natural Sciences: 90 minutes consisting of 100
questions. Topics include Biology, Inorganic Chemistry, and
Organic Chemistry.
Perceptual Ability Test: 60 minutes
consisting of 90 questions. Tests ability to visualize in 3
dimensions, and angle discrimination.
Reading Comprehension:
60 minutes consisting of 50 questions. Tests the ability to
absorb information, finding the main idea, and ability to keep
track of information.
Quantitative Reasoning: 45 minutes
consisting of 40 questions. Topics include Algebra, Word
Problems, Basic Math, Geometry, and Trigonometry.
Scoring
Separate scores between 1-30 are given for Reading Comprehension, Perceptual Ability, Quantitative Reasoning, and each of the science disciplines tested in Survey of Natural Sciences - biology, general chemistry, and organic chemistry as well as an Academic Average Score.
