The following represents the service fee structure:

PC Tune-Up $35.00

Includes virus scan, spyware scan and removal, system defrag, ensuring your system has the latest operating system patches from Microsoft, and successful registration of your system on the University network if you are an employee or current student with a valid account.

Payment is due at the time the computer is picked up. Computers left over three days after an user is notified that service is complete will incur a $5 per day handling charge unless other arrangements are made ahead of time.

Apple Defective

Defective hardware/software, as determined by a Central Methodist University Technology Services Help Desk professional, will not result in a fee levied toward the student. The student’s device will be replaced at no cost.

Apple Accidental Damage

If a student accidentally damages an iPad, they must bring said device to the Central Methodist University Technology Services Help Desk for inspection. If an iPad is found to be repairable, the student will be charged $100 and issued a replacement. If the same student causes accidental damage to the iPad again, they will incur a charge of the full cost of the device and issued a replacement, regardless of the Central Methodist University Technology Services Help Desk’s ability to repair the damage.

If, at any time, a student brings in an iPad that is unable to be repaired due to heavy damage (as determined by the Central Methodist University Technology Services Help Desk), the student will be charged the full cost of the iPad and issued a replacement.

All charges are due at the time of service in order to receive the replacement/fixed device.
