Accounting/Business Adjunct Professor

GENERAL SUMMARY:

Central Methodist University is looking for adjunct instructors to teach Accounting/Business courses. Courses meet one night per week for four hours at the Dexter, Sikeston and Kennett, Missourilocations.

PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Prepare for and teach all scheduled classes – 50%

Grade all work and provide feedback to students in a timely manner, maintain grade book – 40%

Provide office hour/time when available to help/answer additional questions – 5%

Report and respond to Central Methodist University staff as requested – 5%

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE QUALIFICATIONS:

MBA equivalent is required.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

Ability to sit/stand for the duration of the class meetings.

OTHER SKILLS AND ABILITIES:

Ability to effectively use email and appropriate computer programs including Microsoft Office products.

Familiarity with using a course management system

OTHER INFORMATION AND ATTRIBUTES:

Courses are taught in the evenings. Instructor will need his/her own computer to teach any online portions of the courses.
